We call this the Mountainview Platinum Cropping Procedure and we’re the only local farm that goes to this extent on our entire operation to ensure that each of our grass varieties remain the dominant species growing on our turf.
From there, our in-house monitoring system ensures you receive a detailed outline of the exact colour, density and condition of turf before delivery. Even after installation we’ll check to see that our quality guarantee lives up to your expectations. TAILORED SOLUTIONSGOLF COURSES GOLF COURSESKentucky Bluegrass – Known for colour and texture, this turf will make an attractive addition to your facilities. It is disease and wear resistant, quickly repairs itself, tolerates a low height of cut, and is available in dwarf varieties. Expect a uniform and dark, highly dense surface ideal for sports turf application. Next Generation Limousine Tee Sod – This new blend of Impact & Limousine Kentucky Bluegrass includes the best of both varieties. Enjoy a broader growth base, deep colour and upright growing habit in one grass, which thrives on a ½ inch cut. Expect scuffs, not divots, in a superior surface which heals quickly and is aggressive but not thatchy. Greens Quality Bentgrass – Best used for putting greens, tees & fairways, this product has minimum thatch and is Poa free. Grown under the supervision of a professional greenskeeper, to ensure exacting golf course standards, our bentgrass is maintained at a low cut height for ease of transition from nursery to green. Upon request, we can also contract grow to your new course construction or renovation specifications. Fescue – Our Fescue blend is also called Ruhs grass after the golf course superintendent who assisted in co-creating it. This product is exceptional in rough applications and sand traps, was developed to be winter hard, shade and drought tolerant, saline resistant and ideal in a low-fertility environment.
